The No. 4 unit of the Dazhou Gas Power Station Phase II project was successfully connected to the grid in one attempt
At 0:51 on January 25th, Unit 4 of the Dazhou Gas Power Station Phase II Project, which is undertaken by the South China Electric Power Test and Research Institute of China Energy Engineering Group, achieved its first successful grid connection.
The second phase of the Dazhou Gas Power Station project involves the construction of two 740,000 kW H-class gas-steam combined cycle generating units, which boast advantages such as high efficiency, low emissions, and flexible peak regulation, with a combined cycle efficiency exceeding 60%. Previously, Unit 3 of the project was commissioned in August 2025. The successful grid connection of Unit 4 this time marks the stable operation of all systems within the unit, with comprehensive performance parameters meeting standards and exhibiting excellent performance. The key milestone task prior to the 168-hour full-load trial run has been successfully completed.
The gas turbine inlet systems for the two units of this project are independently developed and provided by Jiangsu Huaqiang New Energy. Huaqiang New Energy has long been serving the construction of power supporting facilities, continuously innovating in core components of gas turbines and filtration performance assurance, contributing to the localization of key areas, and laying the foundation for "building peaks and strengthening chains".
