On January 29, 2026, Shanghai Heavy Combustion Power Plant's Unit 2 (H-class) successfully completed a 168-hour full-load test run at the Lingang Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine Test Power Station. The unit operated stably and exhibited excellent performance indicators, marking the full commissioning of the unit project.
The Lingang Reheat Test Power Station Project is a major national "two-machine" special project. The test power station's support unit is developed independently based on the reheat special project. The support unit project is equipped with one 500 MW F-class (Unit 1) and one 670 MW H-class (Unit 2) combined cycle units. Among them, Unit 2 adopts a "one-to-one" single-shaft arrangement and a condenser lateral exhaust design, featuring a compact layout and convenient operation and maintenance.
The newly commissioned Unit 2 stands out with its notable features. It utilizes the Siemens SGT5-8000H heavy-duty gas turbine, marking the first of its kind in the Shanghai region. With an installed capacity of 670 megawatts and a combined cycle efficiency of 62%, it ranks among the world's most advanced gas turbine units.
The gas turbine exhaust system for this project is provided by Huaqiang New Energy. Our company has long been dedicated to the research, development, production, sales, and engineering services of low-carbon energy special equipment. Our products include gas turbine intake systems, gas turbine exhaust systems, soundproof enclosures, etc. The company will continue to serve the trial production and commercial operation of more domestically produced and independently developed technology products.
